Although we change our calendars in January, the September school launch has long felt like the real beginning of a new year to me! With that in mind, I thought it would be a perfect time to (re)introduce myself and share a bit about where following God has taken me!
I’m Martha North, also known by the kids I teach as “Miss Martha.” Since I can remember, my passions have remained the same – Jesus and kids! I’ve been happily married to the love of my life, Mike, for 35 years. We’re currently fumbling through how to best champion our three adult children!
After nearly two decades in kids' ministry, I founded Bible Adventures in 2017. My love for bringing stories and truths off the pages of the Bible and into kids’ daily lives is how I try to “go into all the world and share the Good News to everyone.” (Mark 16:15). God gave me vision to develop a biblically based curriculum to reach children and their families. It’s an incredible privilege and honor to share the Bible in fun and engaging ways with early childhood kids throughout the school year and at our three annual events!
As our ministry launched, it became abundantly clear that there was a need to support and inspire families to go and tell the Good News in their everyday lives (Matthew 28:18-20 MSG) and to live their lives in a way that reflects biblical guidance and influence. So, we created the GO+TELL Collection to produce products and resources that invite kids and adults alike to have conversations about the Gospel, and to remind them of the importance of using the Bible as a guide for how we should live. I mean, who doesn’t want Good News?! Currently, we have a children’s book (with another on the way!), fun graphic tees for adults and kids, water bottles, wristbands, unique rhyming Nativity kits… Eventually, we plan to roll out a pocket guide and Bible study to go along with the GO+TELL icons and only God knows what else (literally)!
Our most recent initiative has been uniting the visions of Bible Adventures and the GO+TELL Collection under one name – go+tell co. As with all things, we take Jesus’ lead. Because Jesus used His final words to command us to go and tell others about His love, we truly believe there is no more worthy purpose! It’s our heart to be a resource to equip you as parents, helping you share biblical truths at home that will impact the way you live, parent, think, and love!
